Antipode Bellydance was founded in 2006 by a group of performers who blended their love of video games and nerd culture with the art of belly dance, creating a playful and distinctive style known as geeky bellydance.
Antipode performs throughout the year at numerous conventions along the East Coast, and has performed over 250 shows on 4 continents.
For this year’s show, co-directors Ayla and Merika, are joined by Termariel, Calixta, and Ziraki. Additionally, Antipode’s dance class will be featuring live music performed by Eternal HOSHI!
Eternal HOSHI is a Japanese Rock, Anisong, and Video Game Music Band, performing deep cuts and fan favorites on stages across the East Coast. Members Fred, Daybreak, Kuba, and R&Y are excited to be joining Antipode in bringing you the next level of Music and Gaming performances and dance classes!
